What data we collect
Your email address is NOT connected to your responses to the NIU sleep survey.
Why we collect it
We collect your email address to send you updates about NIU sleep research and to send out invitations to focus studies.
Legal basis
We process your personal data based on your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR), which you provide by subscribing to our newsletter.
How we use and store your data
- Your data will only be used for sending you the newsletter you subscribed to.
We never sell your data
How long we keep it
We will retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed to our newsletter. If you unsubscribe, your email address will be removed from our mailing list promptly. We periodically review our subscriber list and may remove inactive subscriptions.
Your rights
- You have the right to withdraw your consent and unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time. You can do this by contacting us at privacy@niusleep.com. By doing so, we will promptly delete all data (email address)
- File a complaint with Datatilsynet (www.datatilsynet.no)
Data security
- Responses are encrypted and stored on EU servers
